Khalsa School Board Meeting

Thursday June 4, 2026

Minutes

The meeting convened at 4:02

Board members present:

Nirvair Khalsa

Natalie Shepp (Zoom)

Gurumeet Khalsa (Phone)

Siri Atma Khalsa (Zoom)

Lindsey Pollock (Zoom)

Others in attendance

Lulu Camacho, head of school

Anne Ortiz, accountant

Members received the proposed budget by email, to review prior to the meeting. Nirvair invited discussion. Lindsey commented that the budget seemed thorough and in line with how the school has been operating.  Natalie, Siri Atma and Gurumeet each replied that they had no questions.

Lindsey moved to approve the proposed budget

Gurumeet seconded the motion

The motion carried unanimously 

Nirvair reminded the board that the next meeting will be at 4:00 June 18^th to adopt the budget for FY2027.

Anne reminded the board that they will receive the signature page online from Jotform and requested that they look for the email and sign it.

Lindsey congratulated Lulu and her team on completing a successful school year.

Gurumeet also expressed his appreciation.
