Minutes

The meeting convened at 3:00

Board members present:

Siri Atma Khalsa, Zoom

Gurumeet Khalsa, phone

Nirvair Khalsa

Lindsey Pollock, Zoom

Others present:

Lulu Camacho, Head of School

The board members received the Annual Financial Report for 2026 by email prior to the meeting. Nirvair asked for comments and questions. GM said it looked really encouraging after the changes of the last few years. Lulu mentioned that she is proud of what they have been able to accomplish and that the year was successful despite lower enrollment. GM commented on teacher salaries, Lulu reported that average salaries are now about $3,000 less than district salaries.

Lindsey moved to approve the Annual Financial Report for FY2026.

Gurumeet seconded the motion.

The motion carried unanimously.

Lulu notified the board that the agenda for the 3^rd quarter board meeting will be an amendment to the School Safety Plan based on new state requirements. Siri Atma asked about what has changed from the plan we passed earlier in the year. Lulu explained that the requirements have been reduced and the structure of the plan has been changed.

Lulu thanked everyone for their ongoing support and mentioned the AFR signature page will be sent to the board for e-signing.
