Board Meeting Minutes – 10-10-2025

Minutes:

The meeting convened at 5:46 pm

In attendance
Board members: Nirvair Khalsa
Gurumeet Khalsa
Natalie Shepp (Zoom)
Others: Lulu Camacho, head of school
Siri Atma Khalsa (Zoom)

Siri Atma Khalsa and Lindsey Pollock were introduced as new board members pending approval by the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools. Siri Atma is here as an observer today.

The AFR was shared by email for review by members before the meeting. Lulu introduced the AFR and explained the report is based on our audited finances. She explained a few of the changes from the previous year. Nirvair invited questions and comments and there were none.

Gurumeet moved to approve the AFR

Natalie seconded the motion

The motion carried unanimously

The members signed the signature page and Natalie, who was attending remotely, gave Gurumeet permission to sign for her as proxy.

The new Wireless Device Use Policy and related statute were shared with members for review before the meeting. Nirvair invited discussion. Natalie asked if the policy is new and Lulu explained that it was updated to meet state requirements. 

Gurumeet moved to approve the Wireless Device Use Policy

Natalie seconded the motion

The motion carried unanimously

The School Board Bylaws were shared with members for review before the meeting. Nirvair invited discussion. Gurumeet and Natalie both said the bylaws are clear and they did not have questions.

The meeting adjourned at 5:59 pm.
